Summary
All Hallows Catholic High School is a flourishing, high achieving and oversubscribed 11-16 high school. It is well known for its high standards of pupil behaviour and academic success. It is a popular choice for families in the local community each year and has a roll of 912. The February 2023 OFSTED Inspection reported: This is an outstanding school and awarded an Outstanding Grade in every category. In addition, the school was also awarded an Outstanding Grade in its Catholic School Inspection conducted by the Archdiocese of Liverpool in January 2025. "Staff and students fully understand the mission statement of 'growing together in the spirit of Christ's love' and use it as an inspiration and guide in their daily lives.
The Governors wish to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Senior Finance Manager at All Hallows Catholic High School. This role involves the strategic management of school budget and finance systems. It would particularly suit candidates with a high competency of financial management who wish to be part of the planning and direction of a large high school and provide financial leadership to the Head Teacher and the Chair of Governors.

Essential Qualifications
* Relevant professional qualification or significant vocational experience in finance or business administration.
* Demonstrable understanding of school finance systems, budget planning and monitoring.
Applied knowledge of financial legislation, compliance, and best practices within the education sector.
Desirable Qualifications
* Degree in finance, business, or a related field.
A recognised school business management qualification (e.g. DSBM, CSBM).
Essential Experience
* Substantial experience in a senior finance or administrative role.
* Experience of managing a school or organisational budget of £5M+.
* Experience leading and managing staff teams.
* Experience of preparing financial reports and advising senior leadership.
Experience developing and implementing finance-related policies and procedures.
Desirable Experience
* Experience working in a school or education setting.
* Experience generating income and preparing funding bids.
* Experience contributing to school improvement planning.
Experience managing extended services (e.g. lettings, after school clubs).
