Role Overview
As a Senior Bank Optometrist, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality care and support to our patients. The primary location for this role is King's Mill Hospital where you will work in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment that values your expertise and skills.
This role will also involve travel to Newark Hospital and Ashfield Health Village, offering you the opportunity to expand your scope of practice and contribute to patient care in various settings. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing and treating a range of Orthoptic conditions, managing complex cases and providing a high standard of patient care across different departments.
This position provides a unique opportunity to gain experience across multiple settings, enhancing your clinical skills and expertise. You will be supported by a collaborative and friendly team, ensuring that your professional development is a key focus whilst delivering exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess, diagnose and treat a range of Orthoptic conditions.
* Manage complex cases and provide high standard of patient care across different departments.
* Travel to Newark Hospital and Ashfield Health Village to support patient care in various settings.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support professional development of colleagues.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Senior Bank Optometrist with relevant experience.
* Eligibility to practice in the UK and a valid DBS check (standard £26.40 or enhanced £54.40, cost deducted from first salary).
