Job Summary
Registered Nurse / Paramedic role at Cirencester Minor Injury & Illness Unit, part-time 36 hours per week, permanent contract.
Main Duties
* Triage patients using Manchester Triage System.
* Maintain patient safety while waiting for assessment, working with Emergency Practitioners.
* Deliver care to an average of 50-65 patients per day.
* Work shifts 08:00-20:00, 7 days a week.
Qualifications & Experience
* Band 5 Registered Nurse or AHP/Paramedic.
* Professional registration.
* Acute / Urgent care experience.
* Post-registration clinical experience in ED/MIiU/urgent care.
Desirable
* MIiU/ED experience.
* Manchester Face-to-Face triage experience.
* Teaching & Assessing Qualification.
* Experience caring for deteriorating patients.
