We are recruiting a Finance Administrator for a full‑time permanent position. Working Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, the role pays £25,000 – £27,000 per annum depending on experience.
Key Duties
* Accounts Payable: Processing supplier invoices, managing employee expenses, and compiling payment runs.
* Accounts Receivable: Posting bank receipts and following up on late payments.
* Bank Reconciliation: Updating and reconciling bank accounts, and managing petty cash.
* Data Entry: Accurately entering financial data into accounting software.
* Financial Reporting: Assisting in preparing monthly management accounts and VAT returns.
* Administrative Support: Filing, scanning documents, and resolving supplier or staff queries.
* Other Ad‑hoc Projects: Streamlining processes and improving financial and management reporting.
Qualifications and Experience
* Working towards an AAT accountancy qualification or willingness to pursue one.
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
* High attention to detail.
* Previous accounts experience desirable; training available.
* Knowledge of accounting principles.
