Psychology Graduate TA - Cheadle:
Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a recent psychology graduate to join a lovely SEN school in Cheadle, as a teaching assistant. This is a full time position to start ASAP, with likelihood of temp to perm.
The Role:
* Providing tailored support, working with children with SEN and complex needs
* Providing personal care
* Creating a safe environment that allows children to have fun, learn and succeed
* Providing academic support
Position Details:
* Location: Stockport (Cheadle Hulme)
* Position: SEN TA
* Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm
* Type of Work: Temporary
* Full time/Part time: Full time only
* Minimum Rate of Pay: 105 per day, depending on experience
* Start date: ASAP
* End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
* A recent graduate looking for work experience within SEN
* Experience supporting pupils with SEN/ experience supporting those with complex needs in a care setting
* Strong teamwork ethic
* Driven, energetic and keen to pursue a career within education and SEN
ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
