Responsibilities
* Operates as a core team member of the global People Services and Technology team, reporting into the Associate Director, HR Operations. Responsible for executing duties that support the full employee lifecycle with the goal of delivering consistent processes and an exceptional employee experience
* Responsible for processing and managing employee lifecycle transactions from onboarding through to offboarding, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper document retention. This includes new hire paperwork, contract changes, salary adjustments, promotions, and terminations in compliance with local European employment law.
* Maintains and updates employee records in ADP, transacting all employee changes accurately within the system. Partners with the broader HR Operations team to ensure data integrity across all HR platforms and supports audits of employee data in conjunction with SOX reporting and internal control requirements.
* Takes an active role in supporting the administration of employee benefits across European countries, working closely with the local HR Business Partner, HR Adviser, Total Rewards team, and benefit providers and brokers to streamline benefit related information and processes. Responsible for coordinating enrollments, communicating changes, and relaying relevant information to brokers and service providers to ensure a seamless employee experience.
* Obtains reports (as requested) for use by the local team/s from HR People Services & Technology group on Paid Time Off module (in ADP)
* Provides written correspondence on behalf of the HR function, including Change of Terms letters, employment verification letters, visa support letters, and other employee-facing documentation, ensuring all communications are accurate, professional, and compliant with applicable regulations.
* Own, direct (as appropriate) and resolve Level 1 and 2 employee queries from the EMEA and APAC employee base, ensuring proper awareness within the HR business partners for client areas and working within the required processes of Safeguard/3rd party as necessary.
* Manages European employee visa and work authorization processes, ensuring the company remains compliant with immigration regulations across relevant EU jurisdictions. Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date immigration documentation and tracking within the shared global HR site.
* Supports the relocation of new and existing employees across Europe, by working with Talent Acquisition, HR Generalists to maximize use of ICIMS preboarding module and advising on process steps & coordination of certain logistics, onboarding into the local country, and, working in close partnership with relevant internal teams and external vendors.
* Completes various HR projects and ad hoc requests in support of HR leadership across the region and HR Global Team. Proactively identifies opportunities to improve processes and enhance the employee experience, contributing to a culture of operational excellence within the HR function.
* Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
* CIPD qualified, essential level 3, ideally level 5.
* Proven HR experience in a people focused organization.
* Global experience preferred and/or experience in additional countries outside the UK would be an advantage.
* Proficient in database software, email systems, and office software.
* A proactive results focused attitude, using initiative to drive solutions.
* Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity & engage multiple stakeholders on key processes. Ability to discern when to elevate issues if needed.
* Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
* Friendly and professional demeanor.
* Good organizational skills.
* General knowledge of employment law.
