They are now looking to expand our talented team in London and are seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join and help deliver cutting-edge mechanical designs on a variety of high-profile projects. About the Role As an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, delivery, and project management of mechanical systems. You will collaborate with a dynamic and supportive team, working on diverse projects across sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and more. Your responsibilities will span from design conception through to implementation, with a focus on delivering innovative and sustainable engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities: * Design & Development: Produce detailed mechanical designs and specifications for building services projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. * Project Management: Assist in the management of projects, including liaising with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders. * Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support throughout the design and construction phases of the project life cycle. * Sustainability Focus: Ensure designs incorporate energy-efficient and sustainable solutions in line with industry best practices and client requirements. * Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with other engineering disciplines (Electrical, Structural, etc.) to ensure the integration of all systems within the built environment. * Site Inspections: Conduct site surveys and inspections to ensure that the mechanical systems are installed to the required specifications. * Mentorship: Support junior engineers in their development and assist with technical reviews and guidance. Key Requirements: * A degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) * 2-5 years of experience working in building services and mechanical design * Proficient in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, and other mechanical design tools) * Strong knowledge of mechanical systems such as HVAC, heating, cooling, ventilation, and plumbing * Excellent communication and teamwork skills * Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and projects simultaneously * A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail * Experience with sustainability and energy efficiency design is a plus Why Join?
