As a Kitchen Manager / Chef with ISS UK, you will take the lead in our kitchen, overseeing the preparation and presentation of meals for patients and staff.
You’ll manage your team, plan menus, and ensure our high standards of hygiene, safety, and quality are always met. This is a role for someone who thrives on creativity, leadership, and delivering outstanding food experiences in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
1. Lead and motivate the kitchen team to deliver high-quality meals
2. Plan and produce varied, appealing menus in line with company guidelines
3. Manage stock and ordering efficiently
4. Maintain excellent standards of food hygiene, health & safety, and kitchen cleanliness
5. Support and guide staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
6. Build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
About You
7. Proven experience in a Head Chef or senior kitchen role
8. Strong understanding of food hygiene, health & safety, and catering best practices
9. Ability to inspire and lead a team while maintaining high service standards
10. Excellent organisational skills and creative approach to menu planning
11. Committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences
12. A collaborative, enthusiastic team player who thrives in a busy kitchen environment
