Job Description
We're looking for a Commercial Manager to join our Rail & Aviation team based in Oxford Station. You'll work directly with the Head of Commercial, taking responsibility for all commercial aspects of delivery while enjoying a supportive environment that values collaboration and your professional growth.
Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire – travel to the office required with some remote working available.
Hours: Permanent Fulltime 40 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired.

What will you be responsible for?
* Commercial responsibility and accountability from pre‑contract through to final account
* Prepare, manage, and report on project budgets, forecasts, CVR reconciliations, cash‑flow forecasting, financial performance reporting, change management, and negotiation/agreement of final accounts with clients
* Lead procurement strategy and subcontractor appointments, using internal frameworks, negotiating subcontract terms, and managing supply chain commercial performance
* Contribute to bid reviews, commercial strategy development, and wider business improvement initiatives
* Act as a key commercial interface with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners, providing informed commercial guidance to senior management and project team
What are we looking for?
* Hold academic and professional qualifications relevant to commercial management (MRICS/MCICES/MCIOB or working towards these)
* Have proven experience at a senior commercial level, particularly with target contracts
* Demonstrate the ability to inspire, lead, and communicate effectively across diverse teams and projects
* Possess a full driving licence
