SEN Teaching Assistant – Start After Easter Sale Start Date: After the Easter break Hours: Full-time (8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday) Teaching Personnel is delighted to be supporting a well-respected primary school in Sale in recruiting a committed SEN Teaching Assistant. This full-time role begins after Easter and focuses on providing both one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs. Role Responsibilities Deliver tailored support to pupils with SEN on both a one-to-one and small-group basis Assist teachers in planning and delivering differentiated activities Provide targeted interventions to help pupils meet individual learning goals Contribute to a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere Support the implementation, tracking, and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) Work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and external specialists to ensure each pupil’s needs are met What We’re Looking For GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience supporting children or young people with SEN Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships A patient, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare Level 2 Safeguarding certificate (or willingness to complete the training provided) Why Join Teaching Personnel?
