LYNK has partnered with a UK-based IT and Cyber Managed Service Provider to recruit a L1 System Support Analyst. They have offices in the North of England as well as in the Central belt of Scotland, and they are looking for someone to join the IT team to support with both internal and external users.
The purpose of the role is to provide IT and telecoms support to both internal group companies and external customers as their Managed service provider (MSP) both remote and onsite. To log, manage and respond to support calls via a ticketing system which are submitted either by email or telephone through to resolution while conducting troubleshooting, root cause analysis and diagnosing hardware and software faults. All communication with the customer will be logged into the ticket system in the form of updates, email correspondence and fault resolution.
This role is based
on-site in Stirling
due to the requirement to deal with hardware, and the ease of dealing with internal users at the office. However, the business would also make reasonable allowances on request. This role would also work directly with the Head of IT, and a small Cyber team based in the office.
Working hours would be (rotationally), 8-4, 9-5, or 10-6. Monday to Friday.

About you
You will have 1.5 years+ experience in:
* Windows 11 and Windows server operating systems.
* Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID
* On-premises and cloud backups
* DNS and DHCP
Desirable experience, but not mandatory:
* MAC OS
* Microsoft Intune
* PowerShell scripts
* Experience within an IT Managed Service Provider (MSP)
* Network experience with switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi etc
What you'll be doing
* Operate and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure the business delivers effective IT functionality.
* Act as the first point of contact for IT support within the organisation and for external customers, as well as being an escalation point for your colleagues
* Installing, configuring, and maintaining software and hardware components of computer and network systems
* Diagnosing and troubleshooting user, software, and hardware issues
* Repairing and replacing damaged computer and network components
* Supporting people whenever they encounter challenges with computers and network devices
* Maintaining and updating technical documentation regularly
* Lead projects where required and have the ability to communicate with both technical and nontechnical personnel
