Harvey Nash is now inviting candidates to apply for the role of Senior Procurement Specialist, working for a public sector organisation with offices throughout Scotland.
* Inside of IR35/initial 6 months
* £375 - £430 a day
* Hybrid working between home and an office in Edinburgh OR Glasgow
The role will manage end-to-end procurement processes, support stakeholders, and ensure adherence to Scottish procurement legislation and policy.
Main Duties:
* Undertake complete end-to-end procurement process from initial conception to contract award.
* Leading the development, planning and implementation of strategies for procurements optimising value for money.
* Active supplier management and customer engagement during the contract life cycle.
Essential Criteria:
* Demonstrable experience in a public sector procurement role in Scotland.
* Strong working knowledge of Scottish procurement legislation and governance.
* Experience using PCS/PCS-Tender systems.
* Proven ability to manage regulated procurements from strategy to contract award.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Strong analytical skills with experience in evaluation and reporting.
* Ability to manage multiple procurements and priorities effectively.
