Forrest Recruitment Ltd are excited to be partnered with a well established, family-run manufacturing business in the Preston area. This is an exciting time to join the organisation as they enter a period of growth and they are seeking a proactive, dynamic character to play a vital part of their expansion plans. Working in a friendly team of 3 at their modern Head Office in Preston and reporting into the Office Manager, the role involves managing the customer journey and providing administration support to a busy sales team. This is a fast paced environment and the ideal candidate will be a motivated “go-getter” and be able to manage multiple tasks at once.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Handling sales orders and enquiries from new and existing customers (B2B)
2. Providing product information and quotations to customers
3. Taking orders via telephone, email and via the website
4. Processing sales orders onto Sage 200 and checking stock availability
5. Sending through to the Design/Dispatch team and managing timescales for orders
6. Liaising closely with the Design team to create bespoke orders for customers and setting up product codes on the system
7. Raising proforma invoices on Sage
8. Handling any after-sales issues/complaints and providing resolutions for customers
9. Chasing couriers for missing/late parcels and issuing replacements/refunds as necessary
10. Following up enquiries to convert into sales
11. Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
12. Identifying new market opportunities and potential areas of business growth
13. Maintaining accurate sales records and databases
14. Preparation of sales reports and presentations for management
15. Assisting with the coordination and administration of company events
