Electrical Fixed Wire Testing Engineer Belfast | £38,000 - £40,000 | 40 hours per week The Opportunity A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Fixed Wire Testing Engineer to join a growing team in Belfast. This role is key to ensuring the safety, compliance, and reliability of electrical systems across a large-scale facility. You'll be carrying out inspections and detailed Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), troubleshooting faults, and helping to maintain a safe environment for both people and assets. Key Responsibilities Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across a range of electrical systems and equipment. Inspect and test installations, circuits, and equipment to industry standards. Record findings accurately and produce clear, detailed reports. Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently. Keep up to date with regulations, standards, and best practice. Ensure testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained. Always promote and adhere to health & safety requirements. About You Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering. City & Guilds 18th Edition Award in Requirements for Electrical Installations. City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) in Initial and Periodic Inspection & Testing. Strong track record of delivering EICR inspections, ideally within large industrial or manufacturing environments. Competent with electrical testing software (e.g. EasyCert or similar). Excellent reporting, communication, and fault-finding skills. High attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Full UK Driving Licence.
