Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Financial Accountant to join an exciting Professional Services company experiencing huge growth based in Bristol. For the right person the client is offering a very competitive:
£55,000 - £65,000 plus bonus and hybrid remote working
Role responsibilities will include but not limited to:
1. Prepare the company's financial accounts for audit ensuring they are presented
accurately and on time
2. Complete and file the annual Corporation Tax returns and quarterly VAT returns
3. Capex and cashflow management
4. Support acquisition due diligence and integration
5. Prepare and file the Group and it's subsidiaries corporation tax returns
6. Complete and file the Groups quarterly VAT returns and annual PSA's
7. Provide support on acquisition activity from due diligence support through to post
transaction integration
8. Liaise with the company solicitors and accountants to support the corporate restructure
9. Develop and maintain all necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure
effective and efficient financial management within the company
Person specification:
10. Qualified ACA or ACCA
11. Strong technical accounting knowledge - understanding of UK GAAP
12. Knowledge of UK Payroll and of HMRC's requirements
13. Good communication skills with a wide range of stakeholders
