Ince CE Primary and Nursery School Charles Street Ince Wigan WN2 2AL Salary: Grade 3, 17,511 - 18,067 per annum. 12.85 - 13.26 per hour 31.25 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year Temporary until August 2026 Required for January 2026 The Governors and Headteacher of Ince CE Primary and Nursery School are seeking to employ a Teaching Assistant Level 2, who embodies the Christian vision and values of our school. This role is temporary to assist with internal changes in school. The successful applicant will cover a range of classes/year groups each week. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate: Must hold a level 2 teaching assistant qualification. To provide specialist support to students with barriers to learning. To promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils. To establish constructive relationships with pupils and interact with them according to their individual needs. To promote good behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents in line with established policy and encourage pupils to take responsibility for their own behaviour. To supervise and provide particular support for pupils, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities. To create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment, in accordance with lesson plans and assist with the display of pupils work.
