Children, Young People & Families Worker Location: Enfield Young People Hours: 37 hours per week Contract: Fixed-term (3 months) Salary: £28,690- £34,730 Make a difference where it matters most We’re looking for a passionate and motivated Children, Young People & Families Worker to join our service on a 3-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to support children, young people and families affected by drug and alcohol use, helping them build resilience, strengthen relationships and move towards positive change. About the role In this rewarding role, you will: Deliver evidence-based interventions including 5-Step Family, Friends & Carers work, parenting programmes, peer support groups, and one-to-one and group sessions. Manage a caseload, complete assessments and develop tailored support plans. Work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure coordinated and effective support. Contribute to safeguarding, recovery and harm reduction activity across the service. About you We’re keen to hear from candidates who: Have experience working with children, young people or families, or a background in health and social care, drug and alcohol services or youth work. Are confident building relationships and delivering supportive interventions. Have an understanding of substance misuse (professional or lived experience is desirable). Are enthusiastic, empathetic and committed to improving outcomes for families.
