Are you passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Do you thrive when working collaboratively across complex systems to drive meaningful change? If so, this is an exceptional opportunity to join us as SEND Partnership & Improvement Manager.
You will play a central role in strengthening the SEND Partnership across Westmorland and Furness. Working closely with senior leaders, partners, parent/carer representatives and external agencies, you will help shape strategy, champion best practice, and ensure we are well prepared for inspection and external review.
We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced individual to help us develop and lead our SEND partnership, continuing our journey in improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND and their families across our area.
Key Responsibilities
* Strengthen the SEND Partnership across Westmorland and Furness.
* Collaborate with senior leaders, partners, parent/carer representatives, and external agencies.
* Shape strategy, champion best practice, and prepare for inspection and external review.
* Drive improvement initiatives across complex systems.
Qualifications & Experience
* Strong strategic thinking and ability to work flexibly.
* Experience in managing competing demands and leading improvement initiatives.
* Politically astute and systems‑minded professional.
* Experience working with SEND populations and related stakeholders.
