What You'll Do: Arrange inter-office travel and handle the preparation and submission of expense claims. Draft, format, and amend correspondence and legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail. Manage diaries for all fee earners, scheduling internal and external meetings, and coordinating venue or room bookings as necessary. Assist fee earners with financial processes such as managing disbursements, client account balances, and meeting client-specific billing requirements. Communicate confidently and professionally via phone with clients, solicitors, and barristers, ensuring accurate message-taking and follow-up. Prepare and issue monthly client invoices in line with agreed billing arrangements. Collaborate with secretarial colleagues across the Group to enhance service delivery and streamline processes. Provide comprehensive secretarial support to the team, assisting with administrative tasks as required. Support the coordination of court attendance across the team, including scheduling and logistics. Oversee and coordinate administrative support activities, including supervision of tasks handled by the Office Assistant. What You'll Need: Prior experience as a Legal Secretary or PAideally within a litigation setting Effectively manage a busy workload while supporting a fast-paced team environment. Strong proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Comfortable using and navigating legal case management systems. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks effectively. Strong technical capabilities with legal IT systems and tools.
