Specialist Nurse in Substance Misuse (Ref: 216873) Substantive Full Time – 37 hours per week Band 6 - Salary Range £41,608 - £50,702 per annum Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £2,380 per annum Relocation assistance of up to £8,000 is available This is an excellent and exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse within this specialist field to join our dynamic Substance Misuse Recovery Service. We are looking for registered nurses RMN, with relevant nursing experience in Substance Misuse ideally in a remote and rural setting and post graduate education. Applications from RGN may be considered, with significant experience and we would welcome informal discussions from interested candidates. The post holder will assist in developing and maintaining a clinical service providing assessment, treatment and support to individuals whom have been identified as being dependent on substances. They will provide support to individuals some of who may have co-existing mental health and substance issues. This will involve assessment of service user’s needs; development, implementation and evaluation of individually planned care together with other members of the multidisciplinary team and partner agencies.
