Reporting to the Maintenance Contracts Manager you will be responsible for addressing urgent repairs, maintenance tasks, and small works projects.
Duties and responsibilities
Responding to urgent maintenance repairs, addressing reported issues promptly
Performing small works
Following maintenance schedules ensuring regular maintenance tasks are completed according to a schedule.
Working safely, adhering to health and safety regulations using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and completing relevant training as required
Communicating effectively, clearly communicating with clients and colleagues about tasks, progress, and potential issues.
Desirable skills, experience and attributes
Experience working in a Maintenance role would be an advantage
Joinery NVQ Level 3
Fire Door Maintenance Desirable
Able to work in a fast paced environment
Full & Clean UK Drivers License
Physical Strength and stamina, the ability to perform manual labour tasks for extended periods.
Attention to detail by ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
Communication Skills, ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
Safety consciousness, understanding and adhering to safety regulations and procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work both independently and with others.
