The Role - SEN Teacher (SEMH/ADHD Specialist) As an SEN Teaching Assistant with Academics, you will: Support pupils with SEMH needs and ADHD on a 1:1 basis or in small groups Implement behaviour management strategies in line with EHCPs and school policies Help pupils develop emotional regulation skills and positive coping strategies Provide classroom support to ensure pupils remain engaged and focused Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals Build positive, trusting relationships that promote confidence and resilience Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs What We're Looking For Previous experience supporting children with SEMH and ADHD Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills A calm, consistent, and empathetic approach Ability to build positive and professional relationships with pupils and staff A genuine passion for supporting children's wellbeing and development Flexibility to work across different school settings An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Why Join Academics?
