We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Commercial Finance Manager to join our finance team within the Aspris Care Division.
This role supports financial planning and analysis across our care services, helping to ensure sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and high-quality care delivery.
The role:
* Work closely with operational colleagues to support the delivery of divisional targets and driving performance, being the finance point of contact for all sites across the division.
* Support the Senior Commercial Finance Manager and Operational Senior Leadership Team in delivering a robust approach to governance, attend monthly governance meetings with Senior Commercial Finance Manager, track and follow up actions to ensure completion.
* Input into the preparation of financial and activity-based information across the division and regions e.g. Budgets, forecasts, management accounts reporting and benchmarking.
* Assist with annual budget setting and reforecasting processes as and when required by the Group, in line with the wider business timetable working closely with Registered Managers and Area Directors.
* Support the Senior Commercial Finance Manager with the annual fee uplift process to ensure to long-term financial viability of individual placement agreements.
Skills and qualifications:
* Part qualified accountant, or willing to work towards a qualification via one of the recognised bodies (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills
* Previous commercial or operational finance experience in a fast paced, multi-site environment is desirable.
