NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, one of the UK's largest healthcare systems, employs around 40,000 staff delivering a wide range of clinical and non-clinical services to over 1.15 million people, expanding to 2.2 million with regional and national services.
This is a fixed-term, 12-month post, with salary pro-rata for part-time hours. The shift pattern is Thursday 08:30-16:30 and Friday 08:30-17:00.
The role involves supporting effective clinical care by providing efficient Health Records services to patients and staff. Responsibilities include administering patient appointments, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring accurate and secure health records.
Additional duties include providing administrative, clerical, and receptionist services, maintaining electronic and paper-based patient records, and updating patient demographic data.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
* National 4 or Level 1 qualification in 3 subjects, including English, or equivalent.
* General administration or clerical experience preferred.
* Proficiency in computer use and good keyboard skills.
* Reception experience and prior experience with Patient Management Systems are desirable but training will be provided.
This post is GGC-wide and may be relocated; initial base will be RHC. The position may close earlier depending on interest levels.
