Glen Group are actively recruiting for a reliable and professional Cleaning Operative to join our team at a prestigious, customer facing site in Derby, DE73 area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high-standards of cleanliness and presentation in a professional environment. You must be available to work Monday to Friday, for 37.5 hours per week, between the hours of 7am-3pm each day. The Rate of Pay for this position is £14.45 per hour. The start-date for this position, will be confirmed once background once clearance checks have been successful. This is a hands-on cleaning position, so cleaning experience is preferred however not essential, full training will be provided. We are looking for someone with knowledge of cleaning and to be part of the Glen family, you will need to demonstrate diplomacy with fellow staff, customers, and your surroundings. You must be trustworthy, well-organized flexible, and reliable with a keen eye for attention to detail. The current teams complete overtime top cover each other Absences & Annual Leave, so you must be happy to support this also. Key Responsibilities: Carry out a range of standard cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising Operate cleaning equipment, including scrubber dryers (full training provided) Ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene Follow health and safety procedures at all times Interact professionally with our clients, staff, and visitors on site Requirements: Previous cleaning experience preferred Experience using cleaning machinery Reliable, punctual, and hardworking Friendly and professional manner due to customer-facing nature of the role Ability to work independently and as part of a team Security Clearance Requirements (Essential): All applicants must be able to successfully pass BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) and SC (Security Check) clearance.
