We are looking for x2 Electricity Compliance Managers (1 role is initially a 12 month fixed term contract) to join our Network Operability Team. The team guides customers on their journey to connect to the energy system, making it as easy as possible to navigate the route. We strive to deliver excellence by seeking, listening, and acting on feedback to drive continuous improvements to our ways of working and build trusted relationships with all.
Role location and flexibility: This role can be based from Wokingham, Warwick or Glasgow, with hybrid working from office and home. We are open to full time and part time applicants, as well as flexible working arrangements.

Key Accountabilities
* Coordinate cross-functional project teams and external customers and stakeholders (Transmission Owners, Distribution Owners, Developers) to deliver and maintain customer connection projects in a timely manner, in line with the contractual framework and industry codes (Grid Code, STC, BSC).
* Build and develop collaborative partnerships across a portfolio of complex projects to deliver value, ensure future compliance, meet technical requirements, and maintain system stability.
* Lead the delivery of complex projects to continuously improve customer satisfaction, anticipate challenges, and develop solutions to drive change; resolve customer queries swiftly and fully.
* Identify connection compliance risks, prioritise and drive solutions to mitigate risks for customers, stakeholders, and the business.
* Identify, prioritise, and drive continual improvement of internal and external processes through change initiatives.
* Accurately record and manage data in appropriate systems, ensuring compliance with licence, industry codes and GDPR.
* Liaison with Ofgem to discuss derogations and progress.
* Lead or support industry code changes and communicate implications for the Compliance Team.
* Deliver seamless and efficient services for customers and stakeholders.
About You
We’re forging the path, and we know we can’t do it alone. We’re looking for someone who:
* Has extensive experience effectively handling customers leading to dispute resolution.
* Can manage multiple projects simultaneously to a high standard.
* Has expert knowledge of the Grid Code, CUSC, STC and related governance structures and regulatory frameworks.
* Understands the electricity transmission system, equipment, and network design.
* Can translate technical and commercial code requirements into project applications.
* Has proven ability to deliver change and mitigate complex risks.
* Can understand complex issues and offer viable solutions highlighting impacts on the electricity system.
* Can explain complex contractual issues to customers in plain terms.
* Maintains strong relationships across NESO to manage project interdependencies and communicate with end users.
What You'll Get
A competitive salary between £55,000 - £70,000 per annum – dependent on experience and capability. In addition to base salary, you will receive a bonus based on company performance, 26 days annual leave as standard, and a contributory pension scheme with up to 12% employer contribution.
