Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will be responsible for: Reconciling stock between operations and finance, using your strong IT and data skills Working with the business to minimise stock holding and reduce aged stock Analysing aged stock and carrying out ad hoc stock analysis Implementing and driving improved stock management systems and processes Reviewing two warehouses per month, with travel to sites nationwide Investigating stock discrepancies and collaborating with Revenue Assurance to ensure correct billing Working closely with procurement and warehouse managers to ensure stock is in the right place commercially What you will need: Previous experience in a similar finance-focused role (such as Stock Controller, Finance Manager, Stock Accountant, or Inventory Accountant) Ideally, you’ll be a qualified accountant, but those qualified by experience with a strong stock accounting background will be considered A commercial mindset and the tenacity to drive and integrate new stock management processes Strong IT skills, ideally with experience using Dynamics 365 ERP A passion for accuracy, consistency, and efficiency in stock management What you will get: Hybrid working – 2 days in the office, 3 from home per week Company pension scheme, sick pay, and life assurance Rewards scheme with perks and discounts from top retailers and leisure outlets 25 days’ holiday (excluding bank holidays) plus the option for 5 additional unpaid days.
