Your Role As a Residential Children’s Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in supporting and empowering young people who have experienced trauma. You’ll contribute to every aspect of their care and development in a professional, compassionate, and consistent way. Key Responsibilities: * Support the emotional, physical, and educational development of young people. * Contribute to and implement individual care plans and risk assessments. * Maintain high standards in residential care as expected by Ofsted. * Build positive, trusting relationships with children, families, and professionals. * Serve as a consistent, positive role model and mentor. * Manage challenging behaviour and support children in crisis with a calm, trauma-informed approach. * Encourage the development of independence, life skills, and social integration. * Maintain detailed, accurate records and follow procedures and risk assessments.
