Warranty Adjudicator Position
This role involves processing and adjudicating claims for a prominent automotive manufacturer. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating warranty claims on behalf of the dealer network, ensuring compliance with factory requirements and adherence to published policies.
Main Responsibilities:
* Evaluate warranty claims for financial and technical accuracy.
* Inspect parts to ensure that defects can be identified and rectification work has been carried out correctly.
* Monitor and report claiming behaviours to identify trends.
* Engage with dealers through various communication methods to resolve queries and problems quickly.
* Support Authorised Repairers in adopting optimal behaviours when presenting warranty claims and parts checking media.
* Update records and databases accurately.
* Work closely with stakeholders and management to achieve KPIs.
* Become knowledgeable in paint and body repair techniques.
* Evaluate and adjust network paint estimates.
* Actively support the network and approved body shops to achieve fast and technically correct repairs.
* Manage and authorise paint warranty reports.
* Maintain and develop expert knowledge of goodwill process.
Requirements:
* Manufacturer/Dealer Aftersales experience is essential.
* Motor vehicle technical knowledge is required.
* Knowledge of vehicle repair techniques is necessary.
* Familiarity with franchise and operating standards, warranty systems, policies, and procedures is essential.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills are required.
* Computer literacy, specifically Microsoft Office and web-based products, is necessary.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
* Attention to detail is crucial.
* Ability to work towards targets and KPIs is required.
Desirable Requirements:
* Automotive warranty specific experience at Dealer/Manufacturer level is desirable.
* Motor industry specific qualifications (technical) are desirable.
* Previous automotive mechanical repairer experience is desirable.
* Familiarity with faulty parts and assessment is desirable.
