Female Support Worker 16-20 hours per week. Evenings and Weekends. £12.71 per hour. An exciting opportunity to join us providing person centred care across two services. We are looking for a Support Worker supporting 6 adults with learning disabilities and mental health in a supported living space, and two service users who share a home, both services and service users love going out, being social and want to do fun activities. As a Support Worker you will provide individuals with practical and emotional care, enabling them to lead as ordinary life as they can achieve. Deliver high quality support to the people, we support including meal planning, cooking, personal care, medication, daily living skills, shopping, finances, health appointments, tenancy maintenance and accessing the community. Gayton Road- supports 6 adults in a supported living service. Service users have learning disabilities and mental health. Service users are very active and take part in the local community accessing college courses and day services. Service users very motivated to want to do activities and want fun loving support staff who want to be busy trying new activities with them. Experience not essential, working as part of a team on site who can support and develop new staff. Wootton Road- supporting two young female adults with learning disabilities and mental health who share a home. Experience preferred as lone worker when on shift must be female. Part of a small team. Both service users enjoy going out, being social, going on holidays and being with their friends. You will be required to: Day to day implementation of individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment. Maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families and others whilst respecting appropriate confidentiality. Support service users with the preparation of Meals, Laundry duties, cleaning and social events. Maintain accurate notes and records as and when required. Work as part of a team to provide high quality care. Must Have: The confidence to work alone or as part of a team. Location, Pay & Hours : Kings Lynn, free onsite parking. £12.71 per hour. Working shifts, 4 out of 7 days. Required to work every other weekend, bank holidays, provide cover for Wake Night and Sleep Ins.
