The rate of pay rate starts from £13.70 per hour with an opportunity for overtime after working 41.15 hours paid at £19.18 per hour. Daily Bonus scheme available! This is a full-time role following a rota, 4 days a week, the hours of work are: - 6:30am to 5:45pm Due to the remote location, you will need your own transport to arrive on time for the shift. Your Time at Work As a Gut Room Operative, your duties will include: - Cleaning and stripping down offal into different animal by-product categories - Labelling accurately so that the correct product is placed in the relevant container to await collection by the appropriate waste/by-product carrier - Harvesting, processing and distribution of natural casings, meat products and pharmaceutical products - Maintain clean working practices to prevent slips and trips and avoid cross-contamination - You will work as part of a team Our Perfect Worker Our ideal Gut Room Operative requires a strong stomach as you will be dealing with large quantities of manure, animal stomachs and intestine.
