About the role We’re looking for a high-impact Key Account Manager to take ownership of one of our most significant long-term utility partnerships – a major regional water provider serving millions of customers across the East of England This is a commercially critical role where you will own the account strategy end-to-end—driving growth across capital projects (pump packages and related equipment) and aftermarket services, while shaping the future of a well-established, high-value relationship. Your main responsibilities: Own the P&L and growth strategy for a utility account, with clear accountability for revenue and margin performance Drive the narrative with the customer—positioning us as a trusted, strategic partner across both capital investment and lifecycle services Lead and coordinate a multi-disciplinary account team, ensuring alignment across sales, service, engineering and delivery Build and deepen senior stakeholder relationships, influencing decision-making at operational and strategic levels Develop and execute a long-term account development plan, aligned to the customer’s AMP cycles and investment priorities Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline management and reporting Act as the voice of the customer internally, ensuring continuous improvement and delivery excellence What We’re Looking For Proven experience in a Key Account Management or Strategic Account role within engineering, industrial or utilities environments Strong commercial acumen with experience owning revenue targets and driving growth Background in pumps, rotating equipment, or fluid handling systems is highly desirable.
