Payroll Liaison Officer EMEA
Location - Colchester, Essex
Hybrid role - onsite 3 days per week
Contract length - 6 months
Rate - £350 per day inside ir35
The Role
Reporting to the EMEA Payroll Operations Manager, you will help manage the effective delivery of the company payroll services, working with multiple external payroll providers for the EMEA region, which currently covers approximately 34 separate payrolls, across more than 12 countries.
Working within a team of seven, this position must review and maintain payroll controls, compliance and governance. The role is responsible for ensuring that payroll activities are fully compliant with all data privacy laws and policies.
Key Responsibilities
The EMEA Payroll Liaison officer is expected to assume the following key responsibilities plus any other reasonable duties as required:
1. Work with the UK and overseas payroll bureaus ensuring all payrolls are processed accurately and on time.
2. Monthly payroll checks ensuring the payrolls are compliant, accurate and ready for approval.
3. Prepare monthly management reports showing payroll movements and variances to present to the senior team for payroll approval
4. Ensure the salary and third-party payments are processed on the bank on time, ensuring sufficient funds are in place to meet the payment requirements on the agreed dates
