NRL is working with a national M&E contractor that has a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to join their team for an exciting new project near Newmarket. The focus of this role will be to lead the team in delivering a multi-disciplined project throughout the project lifecycle, including pre-construction, and supervising the overall performance of the operational project team on site to ensure that all activities meet the programme, cost, safety, and quality objectives of the project.
Key accountabilities will include:
1. Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, meeting agreed standards, and managing the project budget and costs effectively.
2. Identifying risks and implementing mitigation measures.
3. Managing staff performance on the project by ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
4. Prioritizing Health & Safety and Zero Harm in all activities.
5. Managing subcontractors and their performance.
6. Attending and contributing to design team meetings.
7. Overseeing commissioning and ensuring a smooth handover.
