As our experienced and detail-oriented Supply & Inventory Planner you will take the lead with our medium to long-term plan across 0-12 months horizon in our fast-paced cosmetics production environment. This is a critical role ensuring optimal supply, inventory levels, capacity utilisation, raw material readiness and production alignment to support commercial demand. You'll be working within the S&OP cycle, driving supply chain performance across manufacturing and packing to support product launches and supply continuity.
You'll work hand in hand with our Production Planner, who manages the short-term daily and weekly planning, whilst partnering with Commercial, NPD and Production teams to support strategic initiatives. Using a continuous improvement methodology, you'll identify and implement improvements in planning processes, tools and usage to enhance supply chain agility and performance. Using your excellent communication skills you'll effectively communicate detailed data to non-analytical personnel to help inform and build lasting relationships.
Responsibilities
* Lead medium to long-term planning (0-12 months) in a fast-paced cosmetics production environment
* Ensure optimal supply, inventory levels, capacity utilisation, raw material readiness and production alignment to support commercial demand
* Drive supply chain performance within the S&OP cycle across manufacturing and packing to support product launches and supply continuity
* Collaborate with the Production Planner and partner with Commercial, NPD and Production teams on strategic initiatives
* Identify and implement continuous improvements in planning processes, tools and usage to enhance supply chain agility and performance
* Communicate detailed data to non-analytical personnel to inform decision-making and build relationships
Qualifications
* Minimum 5 years' experience in supply or production planning within a fast-paced FMCG or similar environment
* Strong understanding of S&OP, capacity planning and inventory
* Skilled in using NetSuite or similar MRP/ERP systems
* Advanced Excel and data analysis; experience with planning tools and dashboards is desirable
