An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Coordinator, at Mercure George Washington Hotel, Golf and Spa
The role of Sales Coordinator will involve generating sales of weddings, conferences and events along with Christmas events too. Achieving targets and exceeding conversion of provisional business contracted. They will also assist with the inputting of hotel reservations when required.
You will have a proven track record in sales co-ordination in a quality hotel backed up with excellent systems experience. You will be experienced in providing show-rounds to prospective brides and grooms, and events organisers, as such, have a friendly personality with excellent communication skills.
Key Skills:
To have a good knowledge of the local area and to seek local business via wedding fayres and show rounds.
Previous experience of meetings and events for a busy wedding, event hotel venue.
Ensure that all enquires and correspondence for the sales team is dealt with efficiently and dealt with on the day of the enquiry.
To conduct sales show rounds with maximum effectiveness.
To ensure that all diaries and systems are kept up to date at all times.
To provide support for all conference and banqueting operations, weddings, themed events and Christmas functions.
To liaise and support the Food and Beverage team to ensure the smooth running of conferences, weddings and events.
