Overview

The shift pattern for this post is: Monday - Thursday, 09:00 - 17:00 and Friday 09:00 - 16:30.

Responsibilities
* As an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team the post-holder has responsibility for clinical nurse leadership, managing and supporting ongoing team development to fulfil the key functions of the CMHT.
* Responsible for the safe and effective deployment and management of the nursing resource to ensure robust risk assessment/risk management and the implementation of complex programmes of care using a strength-based recovery-focused approach that involves the person and optimises self-management across the service.
* Undertake caseload management and line management responsibilities of senior nursing staff with overall responsibility for monitoring nursing activity related to CMHT key performance indicators.
* Lead profession-specific clinical governance activity and monitoring, including care assurance, standards compliance, professional regulation, responding to complaints, staff governance, clinical supervision, line management supervision, legislative frameworks, and national/board policy implementation.
* Work across community environments and contribute to strategic drivers influencing CMHT work; act up for the Integrated Operations Manager as required.
* Participate in multi-disciplinary decision making regarding referral screening, patient allocation, reviews, and monitoring nursing workload and workforce issues to ensure resource efficiency.
* Support the service manager and contribute to health and social care agendas; lead on professional, practice and service improvements for safe, effective, person-centred care delivery and CMHT functions.
Qualifications
* Registered with the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council).
* Experience in CMHT or as a Band 7 (preferred).
