PrepWorld is seeking a skilled Production Supervisor (Days) to join our food manufacturing team during the day. This role is responsible for supporting and developing our Area Team Leaders, ensuring high operational standards, and overseeing all associated production paperwork. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, a hands‑on approach, and a commitment to continuous improvement across the production floor. Key Responsibilities: Training and supporting area Team Leaders Ensure safe use of our facilities and equipment, while also ensuring safe environment Ensure the safety, legality and quality of our products, while ensuring CCP’s are adhered to Management of production staff across one facility Attend daily and weekly meetings with Shift Manager to analyse previous day/week, identify areas of concern and report preventive measures Ensure efficient labour usage to meet business targets, pro-actively manages labour and identifies skills shortage Liaise daily with Senior Supervisor on production targets and ensure a end of shift handover is completed Be the first point of contact in designated area of responsibility Ensures T&A system recorded hours is updated daily and registered hours matches attendance Understand and challenge area efficiencies, waste, H&S and compliance Attend taste panels and encourage reporting team to follow Set example and enforce company policies and procedures Ensure GMP standards and “clean as you go” policies are maintained throughout production areas Deputises on Senior Supervisor absence The role involves some manual handling and the ability to withstand working in cold storage conditions on a daily basis The role requires an alert disposition, working in the vicinity of PPT and moving machinery What we provide in return: Stream – track your earnings and instantly access up to 50% of your pay as you earn it, without waiting for payday On‑site parking, including electric vehicle charging points Regular staff events Staff restaurant serving heavily subsidised hot and cold meals A supportive working environment Clear opportunities for career progression Days and hours work: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Hours: 05:30am - 18:30pm Salary: Salary is subject to experience, with a starting hourly rate of £14.80 to £17.12 per hour.
