Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Weekend Supervisor to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations during the busy weekend shifts. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the hospitality industry, with a focus on food preparation and customer service. As a Weekend Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and maintain high standards of food safety and quality.
Duties
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and service staff during weekend shifts.
* Ensure efficient food preparation and production processes are followed.
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with regulations.
* Provide training and support to team members, fostering a positive work environment.
* Assist in menu planning and food presentation to enhance guest satisfaction.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a high level of service.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
* Collaborate with management to implement operational improvements.
Requirements
* Proven experience in supervising or team management within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
* Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and food production.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Level 2 Food Hygiene or above.
* Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on motivating and developing staff.
* Previous experience in kitchen roles or barista positions is advantageous.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: £12.21-£18.21 per hour
