The Gateway Adult and Community Education Centre plays a vital role in supporting adult learners, community engagement and lifelong learning. We are now seeking a Centre Coordinator to support the effective day to day operation of the Centre and contribute to the continued development of a high quality adult curriculum.
Reporting to the Head of The Gateway Adult and Community Education Centre, the Centre Coordinator will take a central role in coordinating administrative, operational, examination and customer facing activities. You will help ensure that The Gateway is a welcoming, safe and efficient environment for students, staff, visitors and external partners, while maintaining high standards of service and supporting income generating activity.
A key element of the role is contributing to curriculum coordination and development, including quality assurance activity, to ensure the Centre continues to meet local, regional and national priorities for adult education.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of adult and community education, supporting students and staff and helping shape an inclusive, responsive curriculum for adults.
The post may require some flexibility, including occasional evening working.
