Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a Key Stage 1 classroom? We are currently recruiting passionate TAs to support local primary schools across Newcastle.
You’ll play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning, helping children reach their full potential in a nurturing and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons and activities for KS1 pupils.
* Provide targeted support to individual pupils and small groups.
* Assist with classroom preparation, resource organisation, and behaviour management.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning atmosphere.
* Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to ensure pupil progress and wellbeing.
Requirements:
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) – essential.
* Experience supporting pupils in a KS1 setting preferred.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Full-time availability Monday to Friday (8:30am–3:30pm).
* Access to your own vehicle and willingness to travel between schools if required.
* A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
