Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant • Pay Rate: £108.44 per day • Location: Chard, Somerset • Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm. Smart Education is currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant in the Chard area for an immediate start.

Job Requirements
* Previous experience supporting children with SEND
* Adaptability to work in different classroom settings and outdoors
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential due to location)
* Enhanced DBS on the update service
Role Responsibilities
* Support pupils with complex needs to access learning
* Prepare materials and assist with classroom activities
* Promote emotional and physical wellbeing of pupils
* Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider school team
* Encourage pupils to develop independence and confidence
