UK Unplugged is a non profit that supports our community's mental health by helping young people and their families to unplug, explore and create. We utilise the skills and experience of students and professionals to develop Boxes and Events for families to unplug from screens, connect with their communities, inspiring the next generation. Our focus is on learning through play, building positive relationships with people and the planet and developing future skills (problem solving, creativity, collaboration, screen balance etc.) Our materials are inclusive and built around wellbeing guidelines. We work mostly with underserved families in the Merseyside area, supporting SEND, CAMHS waiting list and low income families to have access. The Sustainable Development Goals and Mental Health Guidelines are woven through our work.
