Horizon Teachers is partnering with a welcoming Primary School based in Enfield who are looking to appoint a dedicated Facilities Manager to join their team as soon as possible.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced site or premises professional to play a key role in ensuring that the school is safe, well-maintained, and running smoothly every day.
You will be working within multiple sites across North London, so previous experience within a similar role would be essential. The School offers flexible shift patterns, from 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm.
The Role
As the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the effective management, maintenance, and development of the school site. Your duties will include:
Overseeing day-to-day site operations and ensuring the school environment is safe, secure, and clean
Managing planned and reactive maintenance, including liaising with contractors and external services
Carrying out routine health & safety checks, risk assessments, and ensuring compliance across the site
Supervising and supporting site staff, cleaners, and contractors
Supporting school events and ensuring the premises is prepared for daily activities
The School Are Looking For
Prior experience as a Facilities Manager, Site Manager, Premises Officer, or similar
Strong understanding of health & safety regulations, safeguarding, and statutory compliance
Practical maintenance skills and the ability to carry out repairs where needed
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
A proactive, reliable, and committed individual with a positive attitude
