EAL Intervention Support – Poulton
Start Date: After February Half Term
Location: Poulton-le-Fylde
Contract: Full-time or Part-time, ongoing
Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EAL Intervention Support Assistant to join a welcoming school in Poulton. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping pupils with English as an Additional Language (EAL) to thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver targeted EAL interventions to small groups and individual pupils.
* Support language development and comprehension across the curriculum.
* Work closely with class teachers and the SEN/EAL team to track progress.
* Promote confidence and engagement for pupils with varying levels of English proficiency.
Requirements:
* Experience supporting EAL learners or a background in language development.
* Strong communication skills and a patient, nurturing approach.
* Ability to adapt resources and strategies to meet individual needs.
* A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
