Role: Teaching Assistant (x2 Positions) - Immediate Start
Location: Stoke
Hours: Both full-time and part-time roles available. Usual hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Hours may vary.

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside experienced staff to support students with additional learning needs. You will play a key role in helping deliver educational, behavioural, and personal development programmes, under guidance from teachers and specialist staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Support students in class and individually, helping them engage with learning materials.
* Assist with implementation of individual support plans, adapting resources as required.
* Support behaviour management and contribute to maintaining a calm, safe learning environment.
* Help students develop social, communication, and life skills.
* Work with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress and report on student outcomes.
* Aid with daily tasks as required (e.g. guided learning, supervision, transitions).
Person Specification / Requirements
* Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs & disabilities (SEND) is highly desirable.
* Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
* Ability to work flexibly, as hours may vary.
* A team-player approach, with willingness to learn and adapt.
* Understanding of safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion.
