The Assistant Chef Manager will assist in the successful running of the unit, supporting the Chef Manager and taking responsibility in their absence. They will ensure the highest quality food preparation, maintain sanitation standards and assist in managing the kitchen staff, while also providing an excellent service to the company's clients and customers.

As our ideal Assistant Chef Manager you will :-
Have excellent craft skills and work to the highest standards
Have experience of working in a commercial environment
Have proven experience of managing, training and leading a team
Have a comprehensive understanding of managing allergens
Have previous experience of ordering and controlling food costs
Demonstrate high standards of cleanliness, consistently maintaining a tidy, organised workspace
Be passionate about food with a great eye for detail
Have the ability to understand and complete daily all relevant food and health and safety compliance books
Experience within the education sector is desirable but not essential
