Job title: Food Production Operative
Location: Ashford
Salary: £28,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Our client: Is a fast-growing business currently seeking an experienced Production / Machine Operator to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive and fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The role:
You will be responsible for completing production orders efficiently and accurately by following job sheets and ensuring all required production paperwork is completed to a high standard.

Key responsibilities:
* Preparing materials according to job orders ahead of production runs
* Setting up production machinery in accordance with job specifications
* Operating, feeding and troubleshooting machinery
* Carrying out quality checks before, during and after production
* Polishing finished products where required
* Completing relevant production paperwork accuratelyCleaning down machinery and work areas following each production run
Experience and skills required:
* Experience as a Machine Operator within a food environment is essential for this role
* High levels of accuracy and strong attention to detail
* Good spoken and written English and Mathematics skills
* Ability to read, understand and follow detailed instructions
* Basic computer literacy
