Overview
First Military Recruitment is supporting our client in finding a Technical Manager within the HVAC industry. The company offers a range of products including Chillers, Boilers, Heaters, Air Conditioners, Air Purifiers, and Dehumidifiers. They manufacture containerised Boilers and service their hire fleet, delivering equipment nationwide.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Attend site surveys, carry out contingency planning, and project manage installations.
* Assist field teams with HVAC project delivery.
* Provide technical support to engineers.
* Support sales with technical design for temporary solutions, focusing on Chillers and Cooling systems.
* Prepare detailed quotes and RAMS documents for clients and sales teams.
* Lead by example to foster team building and effective communication between management, office staff, and on-site engineers/sales teams.
* Coordinate between sales and technical teams to ensure smooth transition of RAMS and quotes.
* Support the production of RAMS documentation for each job to ensure safety and quality standards.
* Uphold technical standards and operational policies from site survey to off-hire.
* Plan and manage specific installation projects.

* Personable with both engineers and office professionals.
* Results-driven and adaptable to workload changes.
* Mechanically minded, capable of supporting heating projects as well as cooling, depending on seasonal demands.
* Ability to manage multiple projects across various locations.
* Work well under pressure and problem-solve effectively.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Ex-engineer from a boiler or chiller background.
* Experience managing and dispatching engineers.
* NVQ Level 3 in relevant M&E discipline or equivalent.
* Recognised Health and Safety training.
* Proven customer satisfaction record.
* Practical knowledge of commercial heating and cooling systems.
* Understanding of quality assurance systems.
* Strong people management skills.
* Full driving license.
* F Gas certification is desirable.
