Central Employment are working with a long term and award-winning Commercial Law Firm, as they look to appoint a PA/Administrator based from there Teesside office.
To note, you'll be expected to be work from my clients Newcastle office twice a week for the first 3 months, due to training and HR on-boarding.
PA/Administrator role:
As well as providing support to the lawyers, the role will also involve responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of the office facilities.
Monitoring all supplies and replenishment as necessary; reporting any faults or issues with equipment or the office space; deal with any suppliers/contractors and generally ensuring that the lawyers have everything they need in the office on a daily basis.
You will also be the first point of contact for visitors and ensure they receive a warm welcome and are generally looked after during their visit.
It is essential that candidates are:
Organised, with good planning skills
able to maintain client confidentiality
proactive, flexible and enthusiastic
able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and multi-task
You'll also have:
effective oral and written skills with GCSEs or equivalent in English and Mathematics (Grades A-C)
relevant secretarial, word processing or computing qualifications (e.g. NVQ, RSA, ECDL)
a preferred typing speed of 65 wpm
Previous experience should include:
Experience from the Professional Services sector would be an advantage but is not essential.
Extensive diary management
producing accurate documents and correspondence
dealing with clients both face to face and over the telephone
Microsoft Word
PowerPoint and Excel (preferred)
working with a document management system
working with a financial management system
